Steve from SJM Manufacturing (
http://www.sjmmanufacturing.com) sent me over his newly developed Line Lock Kit for the 6th Gen Camaro. The quality is great as usual. (I've had his kit in my 5th gen for the past 6 years).
The install seems to be pretty straightforward so far. I have already installed the electronics in the interior of my car and ran the red wire to through an existing hole in the firewall to the engine bay. I then ran the wire under the black plastic to the passenger side where the solenoids will be.
I finished installing the solenoids piece. It was a straight forward install. Make sure to get the fittings as tight as possible so there are no leaks.
The reason I have always liked the SJM kit is there is a two stage process to make the line lock work. You have a Toggle switch to turn on the system and then you have a button to hold to actually engage the system. With this toggle switch, the system is not always ON, if you by accident press the button.
