The PS4S are a great choice for a replacement but have the same temperature limits (confirmed by Michelin) as the Goodyears that are on our 1LE, probably true for all summer only tires. If you really want/need to drive it all year round and you live were temps go below 40, your're probably going to have to go to an all season tire or not drive on those days. I had to drive my 1LE the other day and it was 38-40 and dry, I had no issues, driving it carefully. Tread cracking can happen when temps hit 20 and below per the manuals. For me I have a DD I will use for cold and bad weather days equipped with Continental's Extreme Contact DWS06.
