I average close to 20 in the San Francisco area, lots of stop and go, and couldn't be happier. I get about 5-6 on the track, but cruising around 75 is typically 22-25 mpg. People laugh when I tell them how well it does, we have a X5m for the family car and we are lucky to get to 15mpg under similar conditions. On the track I get about 5.5, but at 8k miles I am averaging 19.5 mpg overall.
