You should really post your own thread. That way we could possibly get even more discussion going. Congrats! That's a great number. What tire are you running? I don't find it weird at all. I'm quite certain you guys aren't running the exact same mods, which would attribute for some of the difference. I don't think Gino is launching anywhere near as hard as you are, and he is still running a street tire, which severely compromises traction. I'd love to see your full timeslip so we could compare line by line. Also, without comparing datalogs, we don't know the full story about whos tune is doing what, or if anyone tripped knock retard. There are literally hundreds of variables that go into your ET/MPH.

Density Altitude isn't the only factor as I stated above, but it can play a role. DA is usually only worth a couple tenths max. It's not going to make anyone's car crazy faster (definitely would never make a car a full second faster). You will run a faster ET with higher MPH the lower the DA is. The cooler and denser the air is, the more power you can make. DA is just a numerical representation of that. Hopefully that explains it. Please let me know if it doesn't answer your question and I'll try to add more.
