I would say all together about 4 hours total.
Day 1 - test drive and price negotiation - 1.5 hours
Day 2 - payment - 30 minutes
Day 3 - pick up - 2 hours

I decided last minute to add Simonize Glasscoat treatment so I picked it up the next day. What pissed me off was that I made an appointment with the salesman to pick it up and he was not there when I arrived. He had to go home for an emergency. His daughter locked herself out of the house so I waited over an hour for him to return. I realize that $hit happens but if he called me I could have easily showed up later when he returned. Obviously my time is worth $hit to him which I commented on the GM survey!
