When the 2006 Camaro concept came out, the designers made no apologies for the "retro", and even billed it as a modern interpretation of the original lines, and character of the car, but NOT a retro design...and I liked that.
As far as I'm concerned, leave well enough alone, and if you like retro that much - go buy an old '69...or better: build one!

I hope the 7th gen moves on from the retro looks and bails on the Transformers. They need to come out with something very modern and aggressive, not to imply the 5th and 6th gens aren't aggressive.
Some bigger windows would be nice too.
