The 2005 mustang was also very true to the look of the original.

I prefer the cars to look like an evolution of the original look of the cars. Similar to the 911 Porsche. Even the 2018s look like 911s. Same shape, profile, signatures, etc. You should be able to immediately identify a Camaro, challenger, or mustang. I think that is the case now with all three especially the Challenger but that car isn't even an evolution. It looks almost exactly like the original except bigger. Lol

The fox body mustangs didn't look like mustangs. The failed Holden, GTO did not resemble a GTO. Same for the 4th gen Camaros in my opinion.
