Thanks man! Yeah, if I can get those 60s down I'll be closer to where I should be for sure. There's a few bolt-on SSes down here that I have to work to get around. Sometimes they catch me on a bad launch too. That can be embarrassing - kinda feel like I failed to represent...

Those numbers do not add up thinking about the weight difference. The ZL1 should be faster. I pick up 1-2 MPH more on the second 1/2 of the track where bogging and 60's make no difference. You 25, me 26-27. With a taller back tire my gearing is a little higher than yours.
Have not weighed it yet. Where would I go to get an accurate measurement? My estimates put mine around 3800-3900 lbs though, depending on fuel load. I'm always pulling hard on the big end too. It's where I usually catch the fast cars. I'm definitely going to question the track officials about their timing gates, connections, and maintenance.

I believe you're right on this point too. As Travis has pointed out in his very detailed analysys in "eLSD Wheel Slip % on M6", there is a high likelihood that there are errors in the eLSD wheel slip calculations. For me it seems the "traction managment" (aka Manual Transmission Protection "feature") is a major contributor to the now familiar nose-dive. I believe both are factors, as I outline in Post #151 of that thread. I can confirm without a doubt that the bulletin dcosta first posted here is keeping my 60 ft times close to 2 sec.

Since our diffs are quite different I doubt gears would be interchangeable but that would be nice - gives us more options. Maybe they'll offer gearing options for the ZL1 1LE that we can capitalize on too.

Thanks for the insights!
