Best cam option?
So I've pretty much narrowed down my next mod to be the heads and cam package along with the DOD kit from TSP.
The only decision I'm stuck at is whether to go with their VVT-SV cam that specs at 223/227 with .635"/.635" lift and 116 LSA, or their VVT-1 cam that specs at 227/231 with .635/.635 lift 116 LSA.
I do plan on keeping my stock stall converter and I'm aware that is what TSP recommends the VVT-SV for, but is it possible for me to go with the VVT-1 and retain good drivability? Would I see better performance gains as far as horsepower and torque being that the VVT-1 is a slightly more aggresive cam profile? My car has the bolt ons necessary to compliment the cam and heads package at this point.
I just joined up with this forum and I appreciate any advice you guys can spare! Thanks!
