My experience after nitrous for over a year.

Ok guys, I’ve had a lot of questions on how nitrous on a 6th gen camaro holds up on our cars. So before I swap over to turbo I figured you guys would like to hear from someone who has actually beat the hell out of one of these cars directly, then from people that think it doesn’t work. Now if you blow your car up out of pure stupidity, that is on you, not me. My car is a 2016 1ss 6 speed and has been on no less than a 150 shot for over a year, and on a 200 shot and e85 for around 6 months with a nitrous express plate kit. Car consistently goes mid 10’s at 135+ and hold the record for 6MT 6th gens. First thing I always hear is on stock fuel system out car runs out of fuel. That is false. Unless mine is a freak in some way which I highly doubt lol. Even like the car is Your tuning is what is going to make or break your car as to what usually breaks car. Mine is tuned on e85 through HPTuners, no flex fuel sensor, 36 degrees of timing. Only problem i have had is axle issues, usual downfall to IRS. We also turn the car to 7300 rpm on a factory sealed engine, stock trans, clutch, rear end, etc etc. Only upgrades are a rotofab CAI, muffler delete, cat delete, lingenfelted timing control, and innovate PSN-1 wide band. Plugs i run are LTR7-IX and are the best choice i have found. Guys, our cars love nitrous, even with the tight ring gap. One of the benefits to the direct injection is keeping the piston cool enough to really not have to worry about popping the piston. If you have any questions, feel free to message me.
