European 2ss convertible top replacement

Adding homelink/garage door opener

I added the garage door opener to my eu spec 2017 convertible today. Though the eu cars have a very high spec (2ss with npp and mrc as options, which mine has) they don't have the garage door opener....

Oem latch cover

They are held on with clips (hook over back part and clip at the front). Part number is 13574802. I've seen some non-oem ones on alibaba and ebay that stick on but they are shiny with logos etc put...

Engine cover lettering

Decided to address the common engine cover paint flaking issue today. Removed the residual paint and applied some vinyl decals- better than new!

Changed leaking belt tensioner and added extra grounding cable

Belt tensioner replaced - incredibly easy job. Also added the gen5diy grounding cable as a preventative measure

Euro side markers, soft top trick and. Trunk light

Wired up and added bulbs to my euro side markers.

Made a small plastic piece wrapped in carpet tape with a magnet on the back to allow the soft top to be used without needing the trunk divider....
