I agree with your opinion but what they have told me is that the one receiver is located near the right rear. I do not know this to be fact if anyone has better information.

My windows stay down almost all the time and it really makes a difference. normal conversation volume and hear the radio better with no blowing from the back....

Yes it does help some when down. Main reason I lower mine is when its really hot and I want the extra air or in town. It still keeps things in the back seat from blowing around.

This is the non-folding version that I got on Ebay. We like it a lot and leave it in all the time since we only use the back seat for misc. stuff. It keeps things from blowing around or out too....
