Check and see if your insurance offers mechanical breakdown coverage. I have on my 1LT and I had it on my 07 Silverado. It covered for 7 years or 100,000 miles. What they say on paper sounds good....

The catch can manufacture should have attorneys to help solve the issue of GM is insisting that is why they will not warranty it.

Check and see if you have mechanical breakdown coverage through you auto insurance. When I bought my 07 Silverado Geico added it to my policy without even notifying me about it. I never had to use it...

I can't believe that would put the screen with xm and nav and all other stuff and no camera, it doesn't make much sense to me.

Thanks for the info. I talked to gen5diy they gave me two options get a dealer to program it or I can send it to them and have it programmed. Time to start calling dealers.

Is there an aftermarket backup camera that will connect to my factory my link screen. All I have been able to find are the ones that you have to change the rear view mirror
