Yes, easy to take off. the center console pads just lift straight up. The door pads are a little trickier. You must pry them off and lift up to disengage the clips. I found a couple videos on youtube.

Got my knee pads covered by a local upholsterer. Turned out nice, huge upgrade from the plastic! He did the stitching on the door pads different from the oem.
