Actually I was wrong about the Lt1 being a cast crank as its a forged crank according to the specs I read. So even shit happens to the forged stuff also.

Just keeping it simple. The smell is not good and that's why we changed Chris' SS and he's happy as can be and he bought the Metco Filter for the oil fill and he's good to go.
