Yeah, I wish GM would have been more competitive with them and did 12:1 at least and 11.5:1 in the 5.3. They also may have been more limited with a 2 valve pentroof chamber since everyone else uses 4...

But what about all the extra costs and balancing? I can't remember now but I thought the GEN V stuff is also fracture split rod ends so even more machining, or maybe I am thinking of something...

What benefit are you looking for in the 4032 grade? I thought most "regular" type automotive pistons were high silicone?
