I went through the same thing on my 21 2SS 1LE. be polite but persistent. Apparently 3M installs the hood wraps on new 1LE'S. Took a bit, but GM and the dealer had to replace it under warranty....

My 22 2SS 1LE arrived in August of 22 7 months after I ordered it. Was built in June and sat in the waiting lot for 2 months. The mat black wrap looked like a family of racoons set up shop for weeks....

The Bose in my 95 Z28 had 5 speakers if I remember right. It sounded better than the Bose I have in my 22 ZL1. I had a 2002 with the Monsoon if I remember correctly. 500 watts of nothing special.
