ECO mode is selectable and you don't have to use it, all it does is activates the AFM so you are running on 4 cylinder, remember even in ECO mode you still have over 225hp.

Well my little 4 banger 170hp Sky got the same mpg as my big 323HP V6.... Small doesn't necessarily mean better mileage.
