I did not see the need to do both and only did the cradle lockout, reused the bolts but I did have to buy a torque angle dial indicator for my torque wrench. I did do the front of cradle braces...

As long as you keep some receipts for oil and a filter, etc you should be fine. A dealer is totally not need for service in order to keep a warranty.
