Well, your prior alignment was all over the place, but that in itself shouldn't really lead to tires cording due to hiway travel imo. I get about 5000 miles combined including track duty and apart...

Ya, abrasive track will cord them. That's what happened to me, but only once. Never had one cord just from DD. By and large camber wont cord a tire, but excessive toe will make fast work of it. I am...

One rear locking up would produce instability for sure. Assuming you've changed all 4 lines, I would replace them and simply test it. Who knows...But if you think it is RR then surely worth focusing...

Check your toe. Way too much rubber left on yours to chuck them otherwise. Here's pic of mine at 2.6 camber. Cheers!

Have ya tried swapping the brake lines out for stockers yet?
Thinking about it a bit more, as much as it looks like F vs R brake bias, it could also be L vs R on the front causing the rear...

Yep, in the same camp here, albeit any 5w is easily certified as completely fine til -20F, so focusing solely on the WINTER spec as the oil "quality criteria" is like focusing on what winter parka to...

Some of us change oil more often than once a year and i would advise you: so should you.

This is not about going "cheap" on quality. Both 0w40 and 5w40 Dexos2 are officially approved by GM as top...

I drive a $47k CAD Camaro with zero mods. My track budget is $20k per season. If i can save 50% on a maintenance item without cutting down on quality i will surely do it. Cheers!

We are starting to split hairs :)

0w is a winter rating. Yes it is lower viscosity, which excels in low winter temps, but in summer time, it is not just the speed of flow that counts, but...

I believe it was right after, when folks questioned 0w40 vs 5w40 and hence they both addressed that very specific question.

Lest we forget, the original factory fill was 5w30 for 2 or 3 yrs...

My key point is, there is virtually zero difference in how 0w and 5w will protect a motor at start up, unless it is minus 35C. While w40 will protect it equally at high temp like track duty. So,...

Cold start at minus 20C is very different than a cold start at say plus 15C :) And to your point, 5W30 is authorized for street use. But not only that, as 15W50 is mandated for ZLE track use only....

Hmmm Motul 5w40 Dexos2 is easy to find here, so surprised it would not be States side.
Valvoline seems back on the list, plus ACDelco has 2 of them, plus Amalie, etc.
