The bog has nothing at all to do with the power being made. The bog is strictly a combination of the throttle being told to close and power being removed from the car by pulling timing.

You need the flex fuel sensor and a tune, and a low side pump, you don’t need injectors.
There really is no advantage from running E85-E50, so you could run without a low side pump to get started.
