Had the same issue with 16 2SS, turned out to be the fuel pump module was bad. They replaced it. Problem went away but the check engine light is still on... dealer told me the exhaust valves are bad...

I had the same problem with a 16 SS. Luckily the dealer replaced the starter but now with 50k miles it seems to be almost failing again. Bottom line the OEM starters are a P.O.S.

RPM needle goes crazy

So I’m stopped at a light and the rpm needle goes crazy moving up and down. Engine sound stays the same. Looks like an electrical problem. Has anyone had this issue of so what was it???

Had the same issue at about 10k miles. Old starter messed up the battery had to get it replace and get a new battery. Now the current one is doing the same thing.
