This is the 1 and ONLY time I've been to this...

This is the 1 and ONLY time I've been to this track and was able to launch in 1st gear! Usually i spin launching in 2nd and maybe 1 out of 4 runs i can get it to hook and go! There were 2000HP 1/8...

Launched in 1st gear with no timing being pulled.. First time I was able to do this. It was a Drag Radial test session and evidentially they prepped the crap out of the track!

OK so the track was on kill and there was at the most 35 cars there! Got 5 runs in and my best run was a 1st gear launch. First time I have been able to get it too hook in first! Maybe the M/T pro 15...

Thats impressive! Mine blows the tires off bigtime even with decent track prep! I put a 15 inch conversion on over the winter so I may try a 1st gear launch..

Totally agree with this! I have the bolt in from RPM as well and with a race seat and a 5 point harness I feel very safe going 150MPH in this car!

You have an 8 speed correct? Big difference in 1st gear from that to the 10 speed. Pretty much impossible to launch a high HP car in first with a 10 speed!

I have the RPM bar in mine... more for piece of mind for me! I normally only do track rentals and they could give a rats ass if you run in the 8's without one! Put a Kirkey seat and a 5 point harness...
