Dealer called today and said that GM told them to replace the supercharger - they said they need to keep the car and it will take at least 10 days for a new blower to arrive.

Can the engine be started with the supercharger belt removed? That would be an easy way to isolate it to the supercharger itself or the belt/pulley system.

Yes - I actuated the bypass valve to see what it would do and noticed everytime I did the noise went away

I also thought it was a bad bearing until I manually moved the boost bypass valve and it went away

I haven’t posted videos before so I hope this works. The noise goes away when actuating the bypass valve or after about 10 minutes of warming up.
