Yes, its seems to be a socket for something similar to the older 9006 style bulbs.
But those were only low beam so the 9012 is very possible....

There were 3 individual lights on ebay, 2 passenger, both heavily damaged, and one driver side which just had the back cracked open basically. I have that drivers side light now.

The light looks a lot better with the orange...

The light looks a lot better with the orange marker light lit up.

And the led strip isn't just forward shining. It also glows upwards.

I'm just saying, as the "2016" headlight is currently, it does not have the ability...

yes it does. It is backlit by leds and the white plastic diffuses the light so it looks like an even strip. It also diffuses up so that the top of the white section glows as well.
