If you don't intend to compete in a specific class, but do plan on doing track days, get some adjustable rear toe links with the eccentric lock-out kit. They're fairly inexpensive.

That's a good choice. I ran 500's on my C5. Good sporty tires, wear pretty well, but they did get noisy once they started to wear down. That may be less of an issue when you can rotate them to all 4...

Purely opinion, but if you aren't competing, run the smaller tires. They let you experience the drive more, and are cheaper too.

If it's trophies you're after, then pony up for the bigger tires.
