I believe that's because on the 3rd gen they didn't have a manual trans that could handle the engine at that time (how sad:bonk:). I know you could only get a manual on the 305ci, not the 350.

You should give Track mode and then a double click of the TC button a try. That opens the PTM menu. Then you can select Sport 1, Sport 2, Race, etc. Race is pretty much all on you, I prefer Sport 1...
