Yes, it happens most often when pulling INTO garage..

..but this morning happened pulling out of the garage , and when going from rev- to neutral(and almost engaging 1st gear)..it has happened many times while out n about tho..

we have 5k...

Active rev match is NOT the problem

- It happened to my wife this am...she pulled out of driveway...was going from reverse- neutral..(in street) and it revved to redline..

she put it in trackmode...did not engage rev match...

Scary problem!

When in neutral(thankfully), the engine revs to red-line unexpectedly ..
scares the crap outta me...happens when I am pulling into the garage or pulling out of the driveway(and on the road as well)...

I have a manual and i pulled the fuse months ago...bottom line...lots of snap/crackle/pop in the 2-3k rpm range...specifically if u rev it to 3k or so and take your foot off the gas...love that sound!
