I am having the same issue as well... I replaced pads/rotors at 18k miles as they had 200 autocross runs on them and I was getting vibrations. I replaced them another year later, and I just did again...

It bothers me too. My 16 mile commute is filled with police cars, so I use cruise extensively to avoid a ticket. Not having a cancel button is definitely annoying.

I ran 275s front and 285s rear last year....

I ran 275s front and 285s rear last year. Unfortunately, you can't rotate the tires that way, but I'll take that extra 0.1" of tread width in the rear lol. I'm sure it is more of a placebo effect...

I would agree- most of the issues were sorted out in the first model year. Only major issue I know of is the rear differential groan. That has been my only issue in the first 15k miles.
