I could care less about the backup camera but the reverse sensor (beeping) is almost mandatory in my opinion. I can't count how many times it's kept me from hitting something in my 5th gen ZL1.

Probably not his ONLY reason but definitely a plus. Buying new with a warranty is one thing but people tend to stay away from automatics with any sort of heavy mileage on them.
