You don't know if the reduction of 100 degrees was from the coating or from going from cast manifolds to headers. The only useful test would be to compare uncoated headers to coated headers.

Just fyi. The PCE cover comes with a 1/8" NPT threaded hole for the vent, so your customers will need a barbed 1/8" NPT fitting. It's not the same thread as the stock cover. There's a screw inside...
