Same here. Don't even want to drive my Camaro in the rain. But i accelerate for the puddles in my truck, they are good for cleaning the bottom and wheel wells.

Try adding your 1 quart, it might well bring the level back upon the dipstick. add more if you need to. Before driving it, it would be best to see some oil on the dipstick.
