well, after much finagling... the answer is just...

well, after much finagling... the answer is just pull really hard. I use two pry bars one on each side. There's no latch mechanism or similar to be release.

My seat back is out, but the front of the bottom...

My seat back is out, but the front of the bottom of the seat still feels SUPER securely attached. Feels like a latch somewhere still needs to be released...

You've done it in a 6th gen car? I was pulling up pretty hard on the front of the seat, and it didn't seem like it was going to let go before something broke...

Question How to remove the back seat bottom cushion?

I'm trying to get the back seat out, but for the life of me I can't find a way to make it release. It feels like it's attached between your legs, if you were sitting in the seat, towards the front....
