I also painted the v8 symbol on the cover and when i went to check on it after one hour it was cracked and bubbled in an area- how do i solve this dilema?

I spray painted my engine cover and got a spec of dirt on it- tried to get it off and put a smudge on it- tried to sand area out and it took out paint in area- have a lower area on portion of cover-...
