I was on the fence about trying to fix it myself, but decided if someone’s gonna break all the little clips behind the door panel I’d rather it be them so I can take it back later if it rattles…

With that low of miles it prob doesn't matter, but my justification for doing the windshield is that is the alternative to buying a dash rug. GM does not have the best track record with cracking...

Yeah. The little wires have to get coiled up in the housing. But you have to twist the bulb holder in… so it helps to twist the wire the “wrong” way first before you tighten the bulb socket.
