why would you insure a vehicle you don't own yet? You place insurance on it when or shortly after you take delivery, unless you like to waste money.

you need to find a new dealer. There should be codes stored that can be read with the scan tool to try and narrow down the issue. Flashing CEL indicates a serious misfire so I doubt there is no trace...

appreciate the info. I did get a chance to speak with JoeP earlier today and he confirmed the same. Looks like it'll have to be a MY22. Probably a plus for me since i don't need a car right away.
