I have notice the chipping problem also on the hood, and the clear coat seems to scratch easily, I waited 3 months to cover mine to allow for paint cure and still got scratches from a high quality...

Mine were nitrogen filled and they still vary also . 36 cold, 40 hot. I have read several articles that say the nitrogen fill is a bunch of bull.
