I respect the 6th gen and yes it definitely is faster than the 5th gen in all respects. Motor Trend just a tested 2017 Camaro 1LE V6 and it actually beat the V8 Challenger RT for a lap time around...

I would actually prefer those islands to Oahu just for that reason but, my understanding is it would be easier to start on Oahu first and then transfer to the other islands later if so desired.

The Mustang in the first photo was a rental car. It had the 2.3L Ecoboost and automatic transmission. Tried to buy it but, got a better deal on the Camaro. My wife is loving the car.

I don't believe they do that anymore. I know a lot of rentals their obviously had DRLs. My rental while there was a 2015 Mustang Convertible with the Ecoboost 2.3L 4cyl and automatic.

I'm undecided on which one. The Mark VII is more daily driver friend being fuel injected but, the Cordoba is a lot easier to work on. The Mark VII might be faster but, the Cordoba is fun to drive.
