Check other thread re break in and dead spot in acceleration

So here is what gm is suggesting to do with these brakes
1) no hard braking for first 2500 km as they are rough you may experience...

So after viewing several posts re break in period there is no set rule .. But Gm suggests that you don't exceed 5000 rpm for first 2500km for best results in longevity there is also another thread...

I'm going through gears from red light up to about 4500rpm in each gear when I hit 3rd gear at just over 2000 rpm dead spot it feels like nothing is there same symptoms if you have a faulty throttle...

DEAD SPOT WHEN ACCELERATING 3rd gear

Anyone having this issue going through gears hit third around 2000rpm medium acceleration and hit a flat spot for about 2 seconds intermitting then it kicks in again

Starts normal drives normal goes through gears normal... When leaving a stop light going through gears with medium acceleration hits a dead spot in 3rd gear for a couple of seconds or less
