I have not done the 1/4 mile and I have been launching from idle. I have been using the cars timer which starts as soon as you push on the gas. So you can't time it if you idle up before launch.

The first day I had my car the engine light came on. It was due to the fan connector had water in it and was causing a short. They ended up taking a connector from another Camaro
and put it on mine....
