RS Badging
 

Anyone know how the front grill RS badge is attached and maybe the P/N. I would like to add these badges to my RS clone. Everything else is done.

One of the fins in my grill that the RS attaches to is wider so you may need to get a new grill insert or see if an aftermarket option is available that uses the non RS grill.

Ok,i see that thicker piece now. What really makes a RS. Ie does it have to be
Atleast a 2lt? Mine came with black wing, black mirrors, black badges, tinted taillights.
What other items are RS?

I have noticed some rs cars have a black panel below the trunk lid. Whats
With that?

The black mirrors and spoiler are not part of the RS package

This RS has black mirrors and spoiler.

Satin black appearance package gives you black mirror caps and black decklid spoiler,think it's available on either base or RS option.

RS package includes
SS headlights and grill for fit
SS tinted taillights
black bowtie badges
RS badges
silver grill inserts
RS specific wheels or wheel allowance

How can i tell if i have ss headlights?

Last I checked my RS doesn't have black.

See a blackout option. Also dont see the silver

the RS specific grills are for the headlights because they come towards the center(SS style) and the silver inserts in the bottom grill. If you opt for a different wheel they give you a discount on that wheel since you're not getting the RS wheel.

That car has the redline package, it's only available in certain colors. Can only assume with white it automatically comes with black mirrors and decklid spoiler, and the blacked out rear valance panel (like the early hi po big block first and second gen SS's)
