ZL1 Side skirts

I have found a lot of places that offer preprinted side skirts. My question is for the people that have Gary’s are they worth the extra money. Seems to be about 250 more than all other places.

I just ordered mine through RPIdesigns. Prepainted and they are even doing a custom paint for me by painting the bottom half gloss black at a slight upcharge. I thought the price was reasonable.

They do have good prices however it seems the turnaround is VERY slow lately. The product is always good but it’s a long wait.

5 to 6 week lead time. I should receive mine the first week in April which is a little early to get the car out in upstate NY so that works out fine.

Gary's is a good place to deal with from all that I have heard. I bought mine pre-painted from RPI about 3 years ago and got them in about 4 weeks. Unfortunatly now things with them have gone down hill with their service. I ordered a custom hydro-dipped front splitter from them back in Oct 2020 and JUST got it 2 weeks ago. So 16 weeks, go figure. All I can say about them is every time I have gotten my parts from them the quality of the paint and pieces is really good!! I have other things I want to order from them, but don't want to wait THAT long again for them, so I guess I'm stuck with what I have. I did call them once during that time and they blamed COVID for it all, and that they have a very limited staff now and also the parts orders have overwhelmed them.So we will see..

Last time I talked to Gary on his Facebook page, he said he no longer offers pre-painted parts through the mail. I wanted the vented fenders and side skirts at the time. Even when taken care of, paint still fades and it's unlikely to have the paint match unless you have the car in hand. Then you have unhappy customers because the paint doesn't match.

+1 for RPI. 5-6 weeks for delivery. This was pre-covid also. Fit finish was excellent.

I talked to Gary and he gave me a price for painted and shipped. It’s steep though. I don’t mind paying extra for good products and good service but it’s way more than everywhere else.

RPI might take longer but the painted products are worth the wait.

I’ve decided to go with carbon fiber to an match my hood and spoiler since I can get them for about the same price. Thanks for everyone’s input.

Nice!! I am ordering a set of their CF Z28 rocker panel extensions. They look awesome and would look great with my CF Hydro dipped front Z28 splitter and CF rear spoiler from STREETFIGHTER LA.
