Pretty sure it's totaled...

Last week, a Nor'easter rolled through New England and dropped anywhere from maybe about 6" to well over a foot of snow (depending on where you were - one area in VT, I think, got over three feet!). I've lived in New England my whole life and know how the weather can impact so many different things in the winter. And, even though I knew better, and never should have even opened the garage door...

So, this happened. And I'm pretty sure it's a total loss now.

:)

I just reported it to Carfax...

Obviously, just having a little fun since I can't drive it for about four more months. lol

I opened the garage door (it's a 16' wide single door) and the wind whipped up immediately and blew snow all over the car. Oh well.

Time to part it out, bud

Wondering if I should buy it out from the insurance company even though it will have a salvage title...

Well, a that point, why don't you try all those "bomb recipes" on the internet and see if that all work?

Just recreate that concrete truck experiment from the Mythbusters...

Please make a video of it and post it here.

Nah.. that's the reflection / image of a slender white wire that goes to the optical sensor for the garage door opener. I can see where you might think it shows a crack in the glass, though.

aww gotcha my car has never seen snow and probably never will lol but it has seen its fair share of rain in the past

I thought the same thing, until I realized it was a reflection. :twitch:
