A10 guys - Do you daily paddle shift?

Was just curious if the auto guys drive around in auto, or use the paddles on the daily?

I like both options.:happy0180:

Well my A10 2SS only has 250 miles so far but I've almost exclusively been driving in manual mode with either the paddles or the shifter...

The paddles on the A10 are for sh*ts and giggles. Other than that they are useless for anthing else. Just my opinion :)

Auto.

Auto as it shifts quicker than the paddles. I do occasionally manually downshift to get the rev match and gurgles from the exhaust

I like seeing if I can be faster than the computer in downshifts. If I can click it fast enough, I can get it to downshift skip 3 gears to slow down, but it doesn't happen often. mostly it downshifts the 3 singularly.

Pull and hold the - paddle and the trans will drop to the lowest acceptable gear...

I know it will. I also don't want to immediately jump into 1st right off the bat getting off the freeway. I like going to 7th, then to 4th, then 2nd...

+1, the A10 always has the transmission in the right gear. Amazing transmission.

It won't go to 1st, it'll jump down about 3 gears or so and run you up to about 4500 RPM...

Yeah the vette and camaro auto paddles are a gimmick. On the Challengers and the new A10 mustang, they actually react in real time to shifts. But they are hot garbage in the camaro and vettes.

Auto all the time.

Manual mode only for autox or the very rare downshift in a turn or lane change because sometimes adding a lot of pedal gets a bit too aggressive of a gear.

Manual mode allows you to go higher in RPMs than auto mode; if you're checking your times, manual mode is the better route to take it up to the top end of the range. Pretty sure I saw motor trend or car & driver, or something similar anyways, saying that as well (they lowered their 0-60 test times significantly using manual mode).
