2010 camaro needs rear brembo conversion for FE4 setup?

I was looking into doing the fe4 switch on my 2010 2Lt. But from what I see, I need to swap out rear brake calipers. I'm curious as to why it's necessary?

sway bar can come into contact with the guides for the V6 calipers as the pads wear down.

This is exclusively a V6 problem. The SS's don't have to swap rear brakes as they have the same calipers as the ZL1 and 1LE.

You need this rear sway bar John- compatible with stock V6 brakes and so much better than stock! http://www.jpssonline.com/
The factory FE4 bar will contact the rear banjo fitting on your brakes as they wear and bad things can result.

Also if you haven't corrected the rear subframe bushings, take care of that as well (inserts are fine and a easy install with stock/bolt-on power levels) and you are good to go. :thumb:

Makes a new car out of the 2010's!
