What is your best 0-60 time stock?

So I tried using the built in 0-60 timer today and was a bit disappointed in my results. I ran it three times and my best run was 5 seconds flat. Does anyone have any tips to achieve better times? My understanding is these cars will do 4.0-4.2 0-60.

Location: Hawaii
Temperature: 77 degrees
Run 1: 5.1 secs TCS off/Track Mode/Stabiltrak off (Didn't load)
Run 2: 5.0 secs TCS off/Track Mode/Stabiltrak off (launched at 2500 RPMs)
Run 3: 5.0 secs TCS on/ Track Mode/Stabiltrak on (Didn't load)

The manual says 1/2 throttle until 35mph, then full throttle.
Did you try that?

That may explain it. I went full throttle the entire way.

Of course they are trying to keep you out of the ditch, so really I think you should use half throttle as a starting point. Then add throttle to the edge of adhesion, where the tires let out like three light chirps to 35mph, then floor it. Also not all surfaces can produce good times, shop around and look for a road that can handle more throttle earlier with TCS off/Track Mode/Stabiltrak off.

I tried today as well. Got it to 5.1 with a fair amount of wheel spin. Attempted launch control, is there supposed to be a message that says "launch control ready" or something? Only message I saw was when I put it into competitive mode. I'm pretty sure launch worked... I had clutch to the floor, wheel straight, floored it revs settled at about 35 and quickly let the clutch out (didn't side step it). I didn't get an actual time on the launch run, had a different screen up instead of the timer. The 5.1 was with all traction control on, just a user induced launch.

4.7 without any assists. With the launch control i got a 4.8. Thats cool to me lol.

it has already been tested at 4.0 flat, a decent manual driver will beat that...

Where you running downhill to get a 3.7? Seems too good to be true with the stick.
