I do not see that being as much a factor on a boosted LT1 as I do on a 4 cylinder turbo. Remember aftermarket not as worried about fuel economy so the tune you put on your car will keep the afm in the right ratio at all times. What he described in the video is car dumping too much fuel at full boost and in low speed at 6th gear. Too much fuel creates black smoke. The reason the diesel guys roll coal. I think a turbo LT1 in 6th gear low speed wot will just blow the tires off in smoke.
