2014 red base auto corvette vs my 2014 camaro on trade

I am having a hard time deciding between trading my ss in for a base 2014 corvette. They both have the same engine. If I keep my ss I will have to do the 1400hp axles and pro charger to be happy. But the corvette payment is higher. Not sure what to do. I want to track and daily what ever car I keep. Ugh. I know I need to decide on my own but I need help with the pros and cons.

But the base corvette. Once the payments are done send it off to Lingenfelter

Take a couples weeks off , and do not think on it
Just go on with your life routine
Things will fall just right on its own , and you will see it way more clear , and at peace with yourself

Vette all day! Better gas mileage too if I'm not mistaken...

VETTE

It looks like there is a cover over the entire bottom of the vette. Is that true. Do u have to remove it to work on it?

:confused0068:
Corvette has an LT1 Engine ,
30 to 50 more HP , and about 500 lbs lighter car than Camaro.

:thumb: I was wondering the same in regards to the OP's first statement

2014 Vette = LT1
2014 Camaro SS = LS3 (or L99 if auto)

Now, if he's looking at a 2013 Vette - then that would be an LS3.

His advice is actually pretty sound. Frequently people react to situations or want immediate action when the best course of action is to do nothing and see how things play out a bit.

Of course, the risk to that approach is some deal passes you by, but the reality with cars is that there is almost always a similar deal somewhere, or even about to come up, so very little is lost by waiting.

This.

Because higher payments and maintenance costs. Replacing tires on a vette is a 2000.00+ expenditure for 4 tires, though you'll be replacing the rear tires two or three times as often since they can't be rotated.

True... I have wanted a vette since I was a kid. It is not a perfect fit since I have kids. The wife and them wont fit lol, but I have 2 other new vehicles. I had Planned on using the camaro as a drag car originally, but it became my daily driver when the wife and I traded my Truck for a traverse. I am still slowly converting my camaro to a mild drag car that i can daily also.
I have started looking at all the stuff i have to upgrade in the rear and started thinking buying the vette would be cheaper in the long run.

does anyone know if the rear on the standard vette is the same as the zo6.
if I would have to change it to supercharge it . then I would probably just keep the camaro.
