Picked up my new ZL1 1LE
Coming off a SS 1LE, yes more power. Can't wait to hit the road course.
You think I need to put the high temp brake fluid in this one? Seems like it should come with it. https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4445/...6cb75a40_c.jpgcamaro zl1 (1 of 1) by Micharl Martin, on Flickr |
Very nice! Congrats. Love the HBM.
|
Beautiful. And yes, put in Dot 4.
|
Congrats on the new purchase! Pretty weird the new ZL1 1LE doesn't come with DOT4 fluid since it's built for the track.
|
DOT4 boiling point falls off faster thatn DOT3 with absorbtion of water. for the street DOT3 is better; DOT4 is better initially, but the high boiling point is short lived.

F'n badass man. Congrats. Love the 1LEs.

Awesome, congrats!

Sexy!

Looks so sweet, congrats! Looks so mean just sitting. But we all know it's not good for a car to sit long, I'll be by this weekend to rack up some breakin miles for ya, free of charge just cause it's the right thing to do.

Well played! Super nice!

Congrats, and I hate that color..... LOL
|
Hyper Blue is a great color (but then I am biased). PS. The 650 HP isn't bad either.

The factory is going to use the bulk GM brake fluid, that honestly can't be a surprise. Flush it with Castrol SRF and be done mucking about. |

Castrol SRF is going in tomorrow. The drive home on I-75 though Cincinnati was a bit brutal compared to the SS. Once I got on some nice country roads it was much better. This weekend I'll rack up some nice break in miles. Next weekend I will be at Putnam Road course. Can't wait! |
