Guys who upgraded sway bars on SS...

Can you comment on the differences you noticed in handling? Im mainly looking for comments on the GM kit (same as 1le I think).

My brother and I are thinking about doing it, but the install looks like a pita and wanna know if its worth it. ☺️

Also, where is the cheapest place to buy? Cheers.🍺

Does it have to be an ss?

I put the 1LE sway bars on my car. Yes I notice a difference and the install isn't as bad as you think.

i was the testcar for the afe power springs/swaybars and its a great package and handles like its on rails! was suppose to track it a few months ago but rained out but looking forward to trying them out on the track in june!

I'm interested in this topic as well. 1LE kit with MRC software upgrade doesn't work with 16 SS so instead of paying for whole kit, I may just add front and rear sway bars from 1LE.

If someone who tracks his/her car can comment about the difference on track (with possibly lap time differences on same track, before and after), that would be great!

Sways don't make a crazy difference on the street. They'll actually make you loose traction on uneven street roads because of the stiffer bars.

Decided to give it a try myself. Just ordered ZL1 sway bar kit (front and rear) and strut tower brace.
Will report back once I have them on the car, and run my next track day.

I'd be interested in feedback from someone who installed the 1LE swaybar kit who has a SS without MRC. It would be nice to see a back to back track comparison test!

Which shocks do you have (standard or MRC)? Is the stock damping still good with the stiffer springs and swaybars?

How do the ZL1 bars differ from the SS and 1LE bars?
